For whom

  • People coming on their own
  • Couples, married or not
  • Anyone who has never done this before

I work with

  • Feeling stuck, or further from yourself than you'd like
  • Desire that no longer matches your partner's
  • Sex that hurts, or that quietly stopped
  • The same argument, on repeat
  • Closeness after children
  • Wanting something you've never said out loud

I don't work with

Diagnosis, medication or psychiatric treatment — I am neither a psychologist nor a doctor. I also don't take on acute crisis, active addiction or eating disorders, which belong with a specialist.

If that is what you are carrying, say so on the first call and I will help you find the right person. If it is urgent, contact your own doctor.

Format

Sixty minutes at a time, in a room in Vesterbro or online. Weekly to begin with, then usually every other week, for as long as it stays useful.

  • A short call first, so we can both hear whether it fits
  • No referral and no diagnosis needed
  • Come on your own even if it is about the two of you
  • Evenings available

Price

200 kr. a session for the rest of 2026, whether you come on your own or together. From January 2027: 400 kr. for individual sessions and 500 kr. for couples.

The rate is reduced while I am in training, until I certify in the summer of 2027.

An hour with me

You sit down and I ask what made you book. After that I mostly listen.

Somewhere in the first twenty minutes I will ask about something you did not come in for. That is usually where it starts. Nobody is expected to arrive with the problem already worked out — finding out what it actually is takes up a good part of the first few sessions, and that is the work, not a delay before it.

Sexology

Someone trained to talk about sex without making it strange.

Not a doctor, not a surgeon, not someone who watches. In practice it means I ask about sex early and plainly, instead of waiting for you to bring it up yourself in session nine — because that is usually what happens, and then it never gets brought up at all.

You can come about sex on its own, or it can be one part of couples therapy. Some people come for a single conversation because they want a straight answer from someone who is not embarrassed. Others never talk about anything else.

Nothing you bring here is unusual enough to surprise me, and nothing is too small to be worth an hour.

About me

Most of the people I work with have never been to therapy before and are not sure they are allowed to take up the space. So a good deal of what I do is ask better questions than the ones you have been asking yourself, and keep asking them past the point where a friend would change the subject.

I am in the second year of a two-year certification in couples therapy and sexology, and I work under supervision, which means a more experienced therapist goes through my cases with me.

Before this I worked as a stylist, trained as a personal trainer, and started Papaya, a probiotic for vaginal health, in Norway. That is where I got used to talking about bodies plainly and without lowering my voice, which turns out to be most of the job here too. It is not why I can help you — the training is — but it is why the subject does not make me uncomfortable. I don't sell anything to my clients.

I am 46. I live in Vesterbro with my husband and two Parson Russell terriers. My daughters Havana and Luella are 22 and 19, and mostly live elsewhere now.

Good to know

It is completely normal to book before your partner is fully on board. Come on your own first if that is easier.
